Privacy policy

This page explains what information we receive when you use our website and what we do with it. We are Kairo's Cake & Bakery, 136 Prospect St, Waltham, MA 02453. If you have any questions, call us at (857) 333-3260 or stop by the bakery.

What we receive

Only what you type into the order form: your name, phone number, the date of the celebration, the number of guests, the kind of cake and any details you add. We don't ask for card or bank account numbers, and we will never ask for them by email.

What we use it for

To call you back about your order: flavors, decoration, price and pickup day. We don't use it for advertising and we don't send promotional messages.

Where it goes

The form reaches us as an email to the bakery. The website itself doesn't keep a copy. We keep those emails as long as we need them for your order and our records, usually no longer than a year, and then delete them.

Who it is shared with

We don't sell or rent your information. Two services help the site work:

• Cloudflare hosts the site, sends the form email and runs a security check (Turnstile) that blocks robots sending fake orders. To do that it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type.
• Google (Gmail) is our email provider, where the orders arrive.

If you follow the link to our Facebook page, Facebook's own privacy policy applies there.

Cookies and visit counts

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you. Cloudflare's security check may use technical data only to tell people from robots.

"Do Not Track" signals

We don't track you from one site to another, so your browser's "Do Not Track" setting makes no difference here.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can call us to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to have your message deleted.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
