A family bakery on Prospect Street. Marilyn decorates custom cakes for birthdays, weddings and everything in between, and the bakers make Guatemalan bread on site from 5:30 in the morning.

Kairos means the right time

Erick and Marilyn Paz opened the bakery in September 2020 in an empty storefront at 136 Prospect Street. They had to choose between buying a house and starting the bakery, and decided this was the time. The name comes from the Greek word kairos, the right moment. Erick runs the shop, Marilyn decorates the cakes, and everything is baked on site.

How to order a cake

    Tell us the occasion

    Call, message us on Facebook or use the form below. Share the date, the number of guests and any picture you like. Decorated cakes need 3 to 4 days' notice and wedding cakes 1 week.

    We plan it together

    Marilyn suggests flavours and decoration, and we agree on the price.

    Pick it up

    Collect your cake at 136 Prospect Street on the day you choose.
